Babolat celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Pure Drive with a unique Damascus like design which is inspired by generations of Pure Drives. This racquet is the culmination of tennis technology that Babolat has perfected over 30 years. The blue colour has been the hallmark of power, versatility and modernity for those 30 years. Babolat have condensed every blue since the first edition in 1994, using an innovative painting process to create a random design of shades of blue. Since it's inception, it has inspired players to push their boundaries and inspired other racquet manufacturers with its once-unique shape. What makes it popular is how accessible it is to a wide range of players, from intermediate to advanced as well as some strong beginners.

At 100 square inches, the head size is a typical size for the majority of players and should provide a blend of control and power while it's open string pattern will generate easier spin and power. It's weight at 10.6 ounces has enough impact to provide great stability for intense play without being the heaviest racquet for easier access to power for long baseline rallies. It's head-light balance assists with all-court play enabling faster cuts at the ball for easier spin or quick corrections. When compared to a traditional flat-beam racquet, the elliptical frame shape carried over from previous generations offers extra stability and energy transfer due to it's resistance to twisting especially on off-center hits which translates to more consistent power. This should become more apparent for players who prefer to stick at the baseline and hit heavier shots.

This racquet features "High Torsional Rigidity" which is an addition to the graphite construction which results in increased energy transfer on ball strike. Players should notice this effect even more on heavier shots which should result in additional power potential. With increased power in their game comes the potential for players to encounter more vibration, so the racquet has advanced vibration control with the vibration filtering material, "SWX Pure Feel", which can help to assist with reducing vibration especially on off-center hits without sacrificing the feel of the ball.

Racquets Returns Each item has a certain set of prerequisites that must all be met in order to return said item. The plastic wrap on the racquet/paddle handle and any other protective pieces such as header cards have not been removed.
The tennis, badminton or squash racquet has not been strung.
Tennis, badminton or squash racquets ordered with stringing services added cannot be cancelled/refunded once the racquet has been strung regardless of shipping status. Regular priced items may be returned within 30 days of ordering for a refund or exchange.
Sale items (discounted less than 40%) may be exchanged or returned for store credit or our gift card within 30 days.
