Description

The 7th Generation VCORE 98 has been refreshed with a beautiful beige colour scheme that is is suitable for strong intermediates and experienced players who need a racquet to provide elevated control and precision with the ability to deliver on aggressive spin. This racquet is slightly easier to handle than the VCORE 95 and so will appeal to a wider range of players.

The headsize of 98 square inches is on the smaller side of average and will provide players with a control-oriented response that should satisfy experienced players consistent in hitting with a smaller sweet spot. The weight of the frame is 10.8 ounces and being on the heavier side of average it will provide players with a very stable feel, great for big swings and redirecting fast-paced volleys. It's head light balance means that it will maintain great manoeuvrability, great for fast movement to enable quick reactions and heavy spin. The open string pattern will enable greater spin potential and additional power. The racquet's frame and throat design has been updated from the previous edition to improve the frame's stability and power generation.

Yonex's technology found in this racquet improves spin, power generation and overall comfort. The Silicon Oil infused grommets reduces friction between the strings and grommets thereby improving snapback of the strings which increases spin potential even further than before. Yonex has further enlarged the top of the frame which combined with the usual ISOMETRIC shape brings an even bigger sweet spot especially at the top of the string bed which allows players to make proper contact at the extent of the frame for even greater swing speed and ball spin as well as improving overall power generation and comfort that comes with a bigger sweet spot. Yonex has slightly increased the flexibility of the frame for improved comfort and control. Another key improvement is the new throat design that helps to stabilize the racquet for reduced overall power loss especially on imperfect contact with the ball. Yonex has retained the 2-NAMD FlexForce Graphite for optimized flex and snapback of the frame which provides excellent overall frame response for maximum spin potential.

The improved response, spin and comfort should elevate this racquet as a top contender for experienced players who need exceptional control with outstanding spin potential for an aggressive full court game.

Brand logo stencils are not applied by default with stringing services. If you request brand logo stencils, please note that a stencil is painted onto the strings within a brand's stencil and may wear off over time - this is how stencils are applied on tour. Depending on the string you select, the stencil paint application fullness, colour and visibility may vary.
Adult racquets generally do not come with covers. To protect your racquet, we recommend getting a racquet bag.

Grip size palm measurements for tennis racquets
